Did you know that Mike Goldberg is also a professional musician?  In addition to his meteorological training, Mike holds a degree in clarinet performance from the world-renowned Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY.  He is the Music Director of the Central Virginia Wind Symphony, a group of the most talented high school musicians in Central Virginia, Music Specialist for the Deep Run High School Band, and Assistant Conductor of the Richmond Philharmonic.  Mike is also the founder and Artistic Director of the chamber music ensemble Crescendo, and performs occasionally with the Richmond Symphony and other local ensembles.
